The cost for treatment in India ranges from 20-50% of those in USA. These cost figures are for treatment at a similar or higher level of healthcare facility, doctor skills, nursing attention
and medical care - in short, there is no compromise in quality of healthcare that you receive.

Payment Methods

Payment for treatment in most cases is to be paid directly to the healthcare provider (hospital). Payments for allied services are to be made to AIMTO before departure.Clients have a no. of options to pay the cost of treatment abroad.

  1. Provincial Government: Though restricted, provincial governments in Canada may authorize payments for out-of-province treatments under certain circumstances on a case-to-case basis.
    It is understood that elective surgery is clearly beyond the scope of this method of payment.

  2. Insurance companies: Coverages provided by insurance company can be used to fund the cost of treatment abroad. Many progressive insurance plans recognise our overseas healthcare providers. AIMTO will be pleased to provide the required information to obtain authorization.

  3. Private funding: AIMTO accepts different modes of payments like cheques, direct deposits, bank transfers, wire transfers, credit card payments, etc.
